Today more than ever, organizations need
people with broader expertise who are not focused simply in a
single area of specialisation; rather, they need professional
managers who possess a balanced skill set of excellence and problem
solving, leadership and innovation.
Today people face not only a world of
increasing change, but also pressure to change and innovate in
order to meet complex demands for long term
success.
Success in the future demands that team
managers and managers understand and can authorise innovation and
that they are able to innovate and inspire those around them to
drive and implement this change.
This workshop, conducted by Allan Ryan, is
designed to ensure nominated leaders understand innovation across
their own organisation and other organisations. It focuses
on:
An explanation as to how successful leaders
inspire and deliver continuous and step change
innovation
Theories and models of successful innovation
using real case studies of innovative
organisations
How to lead innovation performance through a
strategic and balanced approach.
The workshop is highly participative and
presents a variety of tools and techniques used in the innovation
process, including case studies from successful innovative
Australian organisations.
Discussion sessions will focus on actual
performance that exists using real examples and be supported by
survey results.
For in-house workshops, a debriefing session
is carried out to ensure that the outcomes of the workshop have
been delivered and to wrap up and review the results. Importantly,
recommendations regarding possible next steps and innovative
activities will be discussed at this time.
Coaching and support services can be
provided to nominated staff after the workshop. These services
include one day face-to-face meetings and telephone support and
focus on innovation strategy or projects.
