Vikram
Murthy joins MII as principal associate, with a proven track record
in senior leadership mentoring, organisational transformation and
enterprise incubation, and growth. He will augment its service
offerings and intellectual property in the areas of leadership,
strategic management, and sustainability. He will also work with
the senior leadership in its client organisations to enable them
identify and shape future opportunities.
Vikram has over
twenty five years’ of ownership, board executive, senior
management, and independent consultancy experience in the
high-technology, retail, and not-for-profit community sectors in a
number of countries, including the USA, UAE, Oman and New Zealand.
His employers, principals and clients have included Mennen Medical
in the US, members of the royal family in the Sultanate of Oman,
Hewlett Packard - MEA, and ministries and local councils in New
Zealand.
He has a Bachelor (Honours) in Electronics and Electrical
engineering, a Masters in Management, and is pursuing a Doctorate
in Management at the Waikato Management School, in Hamilton, New
Zealand, where he also lectures MBA classes in Leadership
Transformation, and Entrepreneurship. Vikram presents at
international conferences and publishes in refereed journals on
leadership, innovation, entrepreneurship and community economic
development. He is the current Vice-President of the International
Conference of Advances in Management (ICAM), USA.
